Social media tracker with AI insights

A social profile tracker for keeping an eye on competitor and influencer accounts. Followers, engagement, and post performance land in one dashboard, refreshed automatically every morning. AI insights turn the raw numbers into what to do next.

App & Tool

1. Build the dashboard

One prompt, and the whole structure was there. I built the overview page with top-line metrics, a per-account table, and navigation for competitors, analytics, and reports.

Build a dashboard for tracking social media profiles. Show an overview with total followers, engagement rate, interactions, and post count, plus a table listing each tracked account with its own metrics.

2. Add tracked profiles

Then I connected it to real data. Using Apify, I pulled live follower counts, engagement, and recent posts for each account added, no manual entry needed.

Add these Instagram profiles to track: @skinglow.studio, @velvetlash.co, @dewdrop.beauty, @blushbar.nyc, @glossbyella. Pull their follower count, engagement rate, and recent post performance.

3. Automate the daily sync

Next, I made it refresh itself. Every profile's data pulls again each morning, so the dashboard never shows stale numbers.

Set up a daily sync so profile data refreshes automatically every morning. Show the last sync time on the dashboard with a manual refresh option too.

4. Add AI insights

Last, I gave the numbers a voice. An AI panel reads the current data and surfaces what stands out, then answers follow-up questions about it.

Add an AI insights panel that summarizes performance against the niche average and flags standout accounts. Let users ask follow-up questions about the data.

What the agent did

  • Multi-account overview table

The overview page totals followers, engagement rate, and interactions across every tracked account, then breaks them out in a sortable table with posts and average performance per post.

  • Individual profile cards

Each tracked account gets its own card with followers, engagement, post count, and average performance, laid out for quick side-by-side comparison.

  • Historical performance charts

A dedicated analytics view charts followers, engagement, and reach week over week, alongside a feed of latest posts with their like and comment counts.

  • Auto-generated monthly reports

Reports are generated automatically each month, covering topics like competitor check-ins and follower growth, ready to open without any manual setup.

  • Automated daily data sync

Profile data refreshes on its own every morning through a scheduled Apify pull, with a manual sync option and a timestamp showing exactly when it last ran.

  • AI insights with follow-up questions

An AI panel compares current metrics against niche benchmarks, highlights which accounts and formats are outperforming, and answers typed follow-up questions about the data.

  • Clean, data-first visual design

A calm white and grey layout with a single blue accent keeps dense metrics easy to scan, with a persistent sidebar for switching between overview, competitors, analytics, and reports.
