Build a course website

A course page that says what people will learn and who it is for, the curriculum under it, and a lesson page for each item in that curriculum. From there you keep talking to Macaly: change a title, add a module, rewrite a lesson, drop a section you do not need.

Into the built-in database. There is nothing to install or set up. The form on the course page saves every entry, so you open one list to see who is coming, which group they picked and what they wrote about why. You can export the whole thing any time you want it somewhere else.

You add checkout inside the project. Tell Macaly which payment service you already use and ask it to put the sign-up button on the course page. If you have not picked one yet, ask it to walk you through the options first.

You can ask Macaly to add sign-in and saved progress inside the project, and it builds the pages and the storage behind them. Nothing on this page saves anything: the example only moves its own preview, and the two cards under it are pictures of a sample site.

The course page carries the dates people are signing up for, and when a group fills up the form under it becomes a waiting list for the next one. A workshop draft is shorter again: an agenda, what to bring, and the notes you send afterwards.

No. A lesson can be writing, a worksheet, an exercise or a recording, and most courses mix them. Start with the material you already have and add video later, once you record it.

The first draft and a published site on a free macaly.app address cost nothing. You pay once you want the course on your own domain or need a larger plan, and the pricing page says how much.

Yes. The course goes live on a free address as soon as you publish, and every change to the curriculum or a lesson shows up at that same address, so the link learners signed up from keeps working. When you want the course under your own name, connect a domain you already own or buy one in Macaly, and the secure connection is set up for you.
