Google Tasks is Google’s simple to-do list app, built into Gmail and Calendar. Connect your account once and the agent can manage your to-dos directly, or show them inside a tool you’re building.
Available on all plans

Why connect Google Tasks

  • Turn your projects into task lists automatically. Build a project tracker where each new project gets its own Google Tasks list, with action items added as tasks.
  • Show your to-dos inside your app. Build a daily widget that pulls what’s due today from Google Tasks and lets you check items off without switching tools.
  • Manage your to-dos from the chat. Add a task, mark something done, or see what’s due across all your lists.

What you need

  • A Google account with Google Tasks. Sign in at tasks.google.com if you don’t already have one.

Use Google Tasks from the chat

Once connected, describe what you want and the agent handles the rest. Turn projects into task lists automatically:
I'm building a project tracker. Create a Google Tasks list for
each project and add its action items as tasks.
Show your to-dos inside your app:
Build a daily to-do widget that shows my Google Tasks due today
and lets me check them off.
Manage tasks directly:
Add "Email the supplier" to my Google Tasks, due tomorrow, in my
"Work" list.
Show me everything due this week across all my Google Tasks lists,
and mark "Pay invoice" as done.

What the agent can do in Google Tasks

Create tasks and subtasks, set due dates, update, complete, move, and delete them, create, rename, and delete task lists, clear completed tasks, and list tasks in one list or across all your lists.

Good to know

  • You connect once. Every project in your workspace reuses the same Google Tasks connection.
  • Some actions are permanent. Deleting a list or clearing completed tasks can’t be undone, so the agent confirms with you first.
  • Your account, your control. The agent only acts when you ask it to. You can disconnect Google Tasks anytime from Settings → Integrations.
