Getting the Most Out of Macaly

1. Start with a Fresh Context
If a conversation gets stuck, use Duplicate → Start Fresh. Long or messy context can lead to confusion. Starting fresh helps Macaly focus on just your new request.

2. Take It Step by Step
Don’t try to do everything at once. Add or fix one thing at a time, test it, then move on. This avoids painful surprises where one change breaks features added later.

• If something does break, use Restore this version to roll back to an earlier state that worked.

3. Give Clear, Specific Details
Don’t just say, “fix it.” Instead, describe:

• What you were doing before the error
• When the error happens
• What you see (error messages, broken behavior, etc.)

Macaly works best when it understands the full context.

4. Don’t Push Through When Things Go South
Sometimes the LLM gives an “unlucky” result. When this happens:

• Stop instead of continuing down the wrong path.
• Use the Edit button under your user message to change and resend it.
• You don’t actually need to change much—just tweaking the wording slightly can lead to a better response.
