How pricing works in Macaly

Macaly uses a credit-based system for AI-powered building.
  • Credits are used when you generate or edit text, design, images, or code with AI
  • The number of credits used depends on how complex the request is
  • Small edits use fewer credits, larger changes use more
Hosting, analytics, databases, and SEO are included and do not consume credits.

What are credits and how are they spent?

Credits power Macaly’s AI. Every time you ask Macaly to build or change something, credits are deducted. You don’t need to think about them constantly. They’re meant to scale naturally with how much you build. Examples of typical credit usage:

Plans overview

Macaly offers four main plans: Free, Pro, Hosting, and Enterprise.

Free plan

The Free plan is designed for learning, experimenting, and launching quickly.
  • Up to 1M credits added daily (reset every day at midnight UTC)
  • Maximum of 3M credits within 30 days
  • Credits don’t roll over and don’t stack
  • Free Macaly subdomain (myproject.macaly-app.com)
  • Built-in databases, analytics, SEO tools, and form submissions
This means you can build, test, and even publish real sites without paying upfront.

Pro plan

The Pro plan is for building production websites and apps with full flexibility. It includes everything in Free, plus:
  • Monthly credit bundles (you choose how much you need)
  • Private projects and private chats
  • Custom domain support
  • Built-in hosting, analytics, databases, and authentication
  • Image generation and editing
  • Code access and GitHub integration
  • Priority support and early access to new features
You choose a monthly credit bundle based on how much you plan to build:

Credits reset monthly. You can upgrade or downgrade your bundle at any time.

Enterprise plan

The Enterprise plan is for teams and larger companies. It includes everything in Pro, plus:
  • Custom monthly credits
  • SAML SSO
  • Custom data retention
  • Custom billing
  • Dedicated Slack support
  • Access to the Macaly API

Hosting plan

The Hosting plan is for one specific use case: keeping a site live.
  • $5/month
  • Hosting for one custom domain
  • No AI credits included
This plan is ideal if your site is finished and you just want reliable hosting without paying for AI usage.

Do credits roll over?

No. Credits do not roll over. On the Free plan, daily credits reset every day at midnight UTC. On Pro plans, monthly credits reset at the start of each billing period. Any unused credits expire, which keeps pricing simple and predictable.

What happens if I run out of credits?

Your site stays online even if you run out of credits. You can upgrade your Pro plan, choose a larger credit bundle, or move to Enterprise if you need custom limits. There are no interruptions to hosting or published sites.

Can I change or cancel my plan?

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time, and changes take effect immediately. You can also cancel whenever you want. If you cancel, any sites connected to a custom domain will go offline at the end of your billing period, and any remaining credits will expire.
