# Todoist

> Connect Todoist to your Macaly account

Todoist is a task management app for to-do lists, projects, and reminders. Connect your account once and the agent can manage your tasks directly, or turn activity in your app into tracked to-dos.

## Why connect Todoist

* **Turn app actions into tracked tasks.** Build a habit tracker where each habit you add creates a matching Todoist task, with your completion stats shown right on the page.
* **Show your to-dos inside your app.** Build a daily dashboard that pulls what's due today from Todoist, grouped by project, and lets you check items off.
* **Manage tasks from the chat.** Add a task, mark something done, or see what's due across every project without opening Todoist.

## Connect Todoist to Macaly

    Go to **Settings → Integrations** in your Macaly workspace.

    Find the Todoist card in the list of apps and click the **Connect** button.

    A new window opens, where you'll be asked to sign in to Todoist. Once you approve access, you'll be redirected back to Macaly.

## Use Todoist from the chat

Once connected, describe what you want and the agent handles the rest.

Turn app actions into tasks automatically:

## What the agent can do in Todoist

Create, update, complete, move, and reorder tasks, including quick natural-language add, organize projects, sections, and labels, filter and search tasks, add comments, invite collaborators, and pull productivity stats and activity logs.

## Good to know

* **You connect once.** Every project in your workspace reuses the same Todoist connection.
* **Edits apply to your real account.** The agent creates and completes actual Todoist tasks and projects, so be specific about what you want.
* **Your account, your control.** The agent only acts when you ask it to. You can disconnect Todoist anytime from **Settings → Integrations**.
