# Google Slides

> Connect Google Slides to your Macaly account

Google Slides is Google's cloud-based presentation tool for building and sharing slide decks. Connect your account once and the agent can build and update presentations directly, or generate them from data inside your project.

## Why connect Google Slides

* **Turn a template into a finished deck.** Copy your pitch template and fill it with this quarter's numbers, so you're never rebuilding the same slides from scratch.
* **Generate presentations from your app's data.** Build a reporting tool that turns your latest numbers into a Google Slides summary, with slide thumbnails embedded right on the page.
* **Build decks from the chat.** Turn talking points or a Markdown outline into a full presentation without opening Google Slides.

## What you need

* A **Google account** with Google Slides. Sign in at [slides.google.com](https://slides.google.com) if you don't already have one.

## Use Google Slides from the chat

Once connected, describe what you want and the agent handles the rest.

Turn a template into a deck:

```
Copy my "Pitch" template in Google Slides and fill it in with
this quarter's numbers.
```

Generate a deck from your data:

```
I'm building a reporting tool. Generate a Google Slides summary
from my latest data and embed slide thumbnails on the page.
```

Build decks directly:

```
Create a Google Slides deck called "Q3 Review" from this Markdown
outline and give me the link.
```

Or turn text into a deck automatically:

```
Build a page where I paste talking points and the agent turns them
into a Google Slides deck and shows the link.
```

## What the agent can do in Google Slides

Create presentations from scratch, Markdown, or a duplicated template, edit slides with new content or batch updates, fetch a full presentation or a specific slide, and generate thumbnail images of any slide.

## Good to know

* **You connect once.** Every project in your workspace reuses the same Google Slides connection.
* **Edits change your real deck.** The agent updates the actual presentation, so be specific about what to add or change.
* **Your account, your control.** The agent only acts when you ask it to. You can disconnect Google Slides anytime from **Settings → Integrations**.
